How to Get Rid of Belly Bloat Dr Oz
Dr. Oz: What to Eat For Your Belly Types
Dr. Oz talked about what you should eat for your belly type. Knowing how you store fat can help you to minimize your midsection. It turns out there are three major belly types: the Pooch Belly, the Muffin Top Belly, and the Bloated Belly. Learn what each belly type is and easy steps to get the belly you have wanted – all revealed on the next page!!!
Dr. Oz: The Pooch Belly
You know how some people don't like the word "moist"? I'm not a big fan of the word "pooch" when it comes to the stomach. I don't know why, but it really grosses me out. Not the body type, but the actual word "pooch" to describe it. It doesn't gross Dr. Oz out, however. He said the first body type is the Pooch Belly. The Pooch Belly is when the fat settles in the front part and lower part of the belly.
Megan is having a tough time with her Pooch Belly, possibly because people call it a "Pooch Belly." I mean, we're not kangaroos. Anyway, Megan can't get rid of the Pooch Belly no matter what she does.
It turns out that Pooch Bellies are caused by age and low testosterone levels. Yes, even for women. This thins out your core muscles, causing more fat to migrate to your belly. Megan first noticed her belly during her college years. She doesn't have a kid. The fat was caused by a poor diet.
Dr. Oz: How to Fix a Pooch Belly
Dr. Oz suggested Megan have one serving of eggs, edamame, oysters, almonds, wheat germ, or yogurt per day, because they're rich in magnesium and zinc. It's also important to get protein into every one of your meals, which also has magnesium and zinc, as well as other amino acids to build up muscle.
It's also important to work out when you first wake up in the morning. Crunches aren't perfect because they don't always allow the muscles in the stomach to work together. Instead, lay flat on your back and lift your legs about six inches off the ground. Keep them there or lift them up and down. Keep going until you don't want to do it anymore. This will help build up the muscles of the stomach.
Dr. Oz: The Muffin Top Belly
Then there's the Muffin Top Belly, where the fat hangs off the waist over the top of your pants. Alissa has one of those. She recently sent Dr. Oz a Facebook message about her muffin top. Alissa said she's tried every diet and exercise to get rid of her muffin top. She said she's even tried to duct tape it down.
The Muffin Top is the most common type of belly fat. It's the first place most women gain weight. When you're stressed out, your body produces cortisol, which increases your appetite for sugar. This causes an increase of fat cells in the waist.
Dr. Oz: Get Rid of a Muffin Top
Dr. Oz said it's important for people who have Muffin Tops to no longer eat simple sugars. No white bread, white pasta, cookies, cakes, and so on.
Instead, eat one cup of complex carbs first thing in the morning, including whole wheat pasta, steel cut oats, bell peppers, carrots, and whole wheat bread. It's also important to have a serving of monounsaturated fats three times a day, including almond butter, tree nuts, coconut oil, olive oil, dark chocolate, and avocados. The monounsaturated fats help regulate blood sugar and help to blast away the muffin top.
Dr. Oz also recommended people with muffin tops choose a word to meditate on. Say the word three times and breathe slowly. This will help you calm down.
Dr. Oz: The Bloated Belly
Next is the Bloated Belly, where the bulge is distributed evenly across the belly. It might also change size throughout the day. Bloated bellies are caused by inflammation and an imbalance in the digestive system.
Regina has a bloated belly and she said in the morning, she can button her blouse, but by the end of the day, her body is incredibly bloated and her buttons threaten to pop. She described her belly as "jiggly wiggly."
Dr. Oz: Get Rid of the Bloated Belly
Dr. Oz suggested she have ginger to get rid of gas in the intestines, pineapple for good digestion, parsley as a diuretic, and fermented foods like miso paste, pickles, yogurt, kimchee, and sauerkraut. Fermented foods bring good bacteria to your gut.
Dr. Oz also suggested Regina have her biggest meal in the morning, her second biggest for lunch, and her smallest for dinner. This will help reduce bloating.
